The Williston Park Patriots captured the 10U baseball championship in this year’s Mineola Athletic Association’s Annual Baseball Tournament. The team went undefeated winning four straight games to take the championship.
They defeated the West Side Hawks of Manhattan 11-4 to take the tournament.
The team received great pitching performances from Justin Bestler, William McCreery, Bryan Carlucci, Jerry Flood, and Sean Hembach.
Jonathan Salamone and Cary Novick handled the catching duties in the hot weather.
Jake David, Andrew Sarnel, Connor McCreery, Christopher Lomando and Anthony Scibelli all had great games to help the team capture Williston Park’s first tournament victory of the 2012 season.
The team’s coaches are Michael Ciccone, Rich Bestler, Lisa Stager and Ralph Salamone.
They were all very proud of the boys and look forward to more fun this summer!!
